Is this cross on heart sign Austrian? I never saw it or remarked it. Google doesn't really say.

All this is taken from MI6:

No SkyWalk? Bond24 cancels filming explosion in Dachstein... Altaussee Lake still a possibility.

So probably another filming location in Austria. Altausseer See in Steiermark. Where they want to plan filming on a lake sequence, with typical Austrian boats.

An interesting detail of the report on the cancelled shooting at the Dachstein is that it was planned to have a helicopter landing next to a ski lift top station destroyed by an explosion.

Altausseer See in winter, to get our imagination started:

From MR. GG at MI6

According Mr Dietrich Mateschitz/Kurier Zeitung, the 300-men filming team will kick-off filming in Austria at the Altaus See (Lake Altaus), before they head to Obertilliach and Sölden.

Mr Dietrich Mateschitz is the owner of this "Jagdhaus" named "Seewiese" (Log cabin villa for hunting purposes) and he also confirmed that they will shoot at this wonderful alpine estate. It is directly located at the shores of Lake Altaus.

"In addition a heliport and ice rink is to be construed in Altausee with foil so that 40 production vehicles have space."

Great.
Austria has such a lot of wonderful and maybe not so over-wellknown places.
I know the Dachstein and a lot of the wonderful lakes...but this one...not yet.
Again...I wish Bond 24 luck with the weather in Austria.

Those are some beautiful places........... 8)

This probably isn't very 'newsworthy' but I read in the paper today that Sam Mendes production company was filming an Enid Blyton publication next year. They didn't say if SM was directing too but I would have thought that he would be too busy with Bond? I don't want any "scheduling conflicts" for B24!!!

Things seem to be moving along quite briskly for B24 so.....

a) When are we gonna get the official title?

and

b) Has filming officially started yet or are they still just scouting for locations?

(B is probably a dumb question....)
