All this interview stuff will blow over. I hope Daniel can do another Bond movie but I want him to be happy too. I also really hope the two of them have a baby! :D

Daniel I presume was mentally and physically tired at the time of some of these interviews, so for us to judge, condemn and think he is a dick/ungrateful et al is quite sad. Worry more about the well being of the man and less about the brand me thinks.

We all know that he puts in 110% and some when he works, and if that is how he was feeling, I think he would rather be hated for being honest than be loved for wearing a mask to please others.

I think most of us know what can come from holding it in in order put on front. People seem to lose perspective when it comes to those in the public eye and fail miserably when it comes to seeing that we are all fallible.

Daniel Craig and Sam Mendes have been working hard to create another "classic Bond movie"

Daniel Craig was instrumental in bringing Sam Mendes onboard for Skyfall. For the following film, SPECTRE, he told our film critic Robbie Collin, he “pestered the hell out ofâ€￾ the director to return.

“I was desperate for him to do it, not least of all because I thought we’d started something in Skyfall, and certainly he had,â€￾ the 47-year-old actor added.

“The plan always was to bring things back in and to reintroduce them in as smart a way as possibleâ€￾. The pair were keen to make this a “classic Bond movieâ€￾ with nods to the past.

When asked what sort of film he’d like to make in order to “decompressâ€￾, Craig said he’d much rather “do nothing to decompress: read books and go to the cinema and see my family.â€￾

Craig has been particularly busy with the Bond films. Not only involved as an actor, he also concerned himself the franchise’s scripts and finances. In 2012 he defended the franchise’s £28 million deal with beer brand Heineken, saying “The simple fact is that, without them, we couldn't do it. It's unfortunate but that's how it is.â€￾

In an interview with International Business Times in August, Craig said that he was called upon to write his own jokes for his first movie, 2006’s Casino Royale. During the writing process of 2008’s Quantum of Solace, Craig told Time Out in 2011, the film had “the bare bones of a script, and then there was a writers’ strike and there was nothing we could do… There was me trying to rewrite scenes – and a writer I am not.â€￾

For the 24th official Bond film, Craig stepped in as an additional screenwriter, an inside source told the Daily Mail. His role in the film, share of the profits and sponsorship deals have, according to The Sun, earned him £39 million, making Craig the highest paid Bond actor.

This level of involvement has been essential in bringing out what Craig calls the “great storyâ€￾ at the core of SPECTRE. But it is unclear whether the actor will be sticking around for another film. Asked if he would be doing the next Bond movie in his Time Out interview, Craig said: "Now? I'd rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That's fine. I'm over it at the moment. We're done. All I want to do is move on." Yet only days before, Craig told the Daily Mail that he might be returning for another film "I am contracted for one more," the actor said, "but I don't want to make predictions."

So one good thing came out of this - you came back, at least for a short post.
I asked Dunda about you and if you are still online here. She said yes and i thought, it was sad, we see so little of you.

What bothers me about the interview is - that now he has to deal with the shit. Whether or not its his faault or the papers or who elses doesn't matter, because in the end, he pays the bill. People love to jump into these headlines and love to believe the bad. I don't want him to destroy what he worked for so hard with a few words in jest.

I stand by it, that I think, he should tone down his "I don't give a damn" attitude, because only one person gets hurt - Daniel himself. If he was a newbie, I would understsnd, that he didn't know, how words gets twisted, but he only knows too well. Sadly.

I believe, nobody could doubt my dedication to the man, but here, I feel, he needs a kick in the pfa rather then pampering.

The fault, if any lays with the prods. They should know better by now then to set him up, tired and fed up, days before or after (I am not sure) shooting finishes. Give the man a rest, before you throw him into the lions den.

I would like so much, if he showed the world, what a great human being he is instead of giving it the finger so often.

BLOODY HELL YES. Christoph is a badass. Way to go man. About time someone said something.

As for all these interviews, I really don't read them, I mean, Dan just got off a big set of shooting, he wants some fam time, who wouldn't want to go home and read or sleep in. He's just a talkin' because people aren't giving him space.

What's happening with all these interviews and talk and blah blah is what I call THE HYPE.

everyone's amped up and pumping for Spectre to come out because we've waited three damn years since Skyfall and it's a hella time we got another film, but really, just ride the waves, those people don't know what they are talking about. They don't even know Daniel so they can go out the window. :)
CRAIGING FOR 12 LONG YEARS NOW

Daniel isn't social via Jamie Lee Curtis so I'm social for him.

Daniel Craig on playing Bond for the fourth time, getting his kit off and injuring himself during a stunt

Daniel Craig, 47, returns for his fourth stint as 007 in the much-anticipated Spectre and he talks explosions, injuries and kissing the laydeez…

So what do we know about the new Bond film?

Well, this time around, Bond is grappling with a sinister global criminal agency known as Spectre. And the only way to unravel a web of conspiracy is with the help of the beautiful (who’d have thought?) daughter of his old enemy Mr White.

He also gets himself entangled with the widow of an assassin he’s killed (there can never just be one lady on the go, can there Mr Bond?), and discovers a chilling connection to his mysterious new nemesis Franz Oberhauser.

And Bond movies don’t come cheap. It cost an eye-watering £200 million to make, including £24 million spent on blowing up Aston Martins.

Ruggedly clad (how else could James Bond be dressed?) in a brown leather bomber jacket and slick aviators, Daniel Craig, who is married to actress Rachel Weisz, had a good old natter about his 007 legacy, getting old and getting his kit off. A lot.

So, Daniel, just how the heck does James Bond stay so popular after all these years?

You simply stick to the old adage that a good story goes a long way. And blow sh*t up every half an hour. That’s how it’s done.

This is your fourth outing as Bond. You’re not bored yet, then?

These movies don’t get made very often. And if you can’t get excited about making a movie of this size, with this cast, with Sam Mendes and this crew, then go home.

You’ve said before that nothing can prepare you for the onslaught of a Bond film...

Most movies, even long movies, take three, four months to shoot. This is six, seven, eight months of shooting. You need a massive energy level, no question. I’d love to have a huge social life when I’m making these films, but there isn’t time.

James is getting on a bit now. How much longer can he keep hanging out of helicopters?

He’s old now, 47... But as long as he’s physically able. Which isn’t that long! I’m contracted for one more film which seems to be a fair number, but I’m not going to make predictions.

These films are such a huge commitment, why would you want to do more?

Money! No, I love playing him. It’s an honour to play him, I get such a big kick out of doing it. I had an opportunity with Casino Royale to wipe the slate clean.

I’m not saying it was a rebirth of Bond, that sounds conceited and I was a huge fan of Bond before. But I couldn’t just do a movie where I was going to straighten the tie and drink a Martini, it’s all been done before. It had to happen in the right way.

What do you love most about him?

His inner conflict. It’s about, when he’s knocked down, how he gets up. He takes a lot of battering and so he should, he’s an agent. But it’s how he stands up against adversity because he’s one against many.

You got badly injured during filming of Spectre, didn’t you? Poor you...

Terribly! I damaged my knee about a third of the way through shooting and we shut down for two weeks while I went away for surgery.

You have to get your kit off a lot. Which we are not complaining about. What do you do to get buffed up?

I seem to be bare-chested throughout this film again! Nothing special, the usual exercising, working myself to death. No secret method involved, just sheer hard graft. It’s getting harder I will admit, but such is life.

You’ve snogged a lot of beautiful women in the course of a day’s work. This time, it’s Monica Bellucci. How was that?

A gentleman never kisses and tells!

How important was it to have Sam Mendes back as director, after Skyfall?

Critical. I just thought we had started something on Skyfall and I wanted to finish it. They wanted to make another movie immediately after Skyfall, but Sam just didn’t have time. But I called him relentlessly, four times a day and eventually he said yes.

You got him the job in the first place, too.

I was at a party with him. I wasn’t sober. We talked about what we love about Bond movies and I offered him the job, which was not my job to do.

How did you feel when he said he didn’t think you were the right person to play Bond?

He apologised and we moved on!

Are there going to be funny bits again, like there were in Skyfall?

I always wanted to bring the comedy back in to Bond, but Mike Myers as Austin Powers really screwed us, he took the best spy gags with Ivana Humpalot! It brings a lightness of touch, allowing the audience to laugh in between those moments of tension.

Do you worry you’ll be typecast because of Bond?

When Bond happened, I put it to bed in my head and said, "If this is the last thing I do in my career, that would be OK" because c’mon, it’s not that bad a role to have under your belt.

But after Casino Royale, I did panic a little about people only seeing me a certain way and I started thinking, "Do I need to play someone totally the opposite of Bond?" But as time goes on, I’ve relaxed about that.

What’s the greatest misconception about you?

I’m not strong and macho. It’s so funny that people have this image of me as the hard man when that’s really not me. Just an actor folks, it’s acting.
