Thanks for the links. I watched the entire Jimmy Kimmel show and Daniel's skit wasn't broadcast so thanks so much for the link.
The Ellen interview was terrible, IMO

It's interesting what he says about Sam and how he "has my back" and "supports me"...
:brood:
Last night when watching CR I was thinking, well what if Sam doesn't want to come back?? Someone like Christopher Nolan has been keen to do a Bond movie (although I've heard he doesn't want to work with Daniel ... GOD KNOWS WHY!!! :?... idiot  ) ... If he was hired, CN would want to do everything his way I expect and that would REALLY piss Daniel off...

I was terribly bored by Batman. No Nolan.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Matthew Vaughn just the director of Kingsman, X-Men: First Class, LAYER CAKE and Kick Ass. So much better for action movies than Mendes.

Sam has said that he won't com back.
You can bet your bottom dollar that DC will have a say on who will direct Bond25, if he indeed decides to carry on. That might be the clincher on whether he stays or not.
Nolan would only do it if he could have Tom Hardy as Bond.
I read that Denis Villeneuve has expressed an interest.

I really love some of Nolan's movies.
Memento is one of my all time favourites (Guy Pearce would make a formidable Bond villain) and I really like Inception and Interstellar but I can't imagine him making a Bond movie.

I would love Matthew Vaughn making one, but I don't think he'll do it.
He already said X-Men: First Class was "his Bond movie" and it was indeed very bondish in terms over an over-the-top villain.
