Did he lose a button on his coat - a large safety pin on the lapel? Or is that some designer symbol? Smile

Thanks Dunda

@ Maria - The safety pin thing - after the election of Donald Trump, fears are growing that segments of his base may physically or emotionally abuse minorities, immigrants, women and members of the L.G.B.T. community. As a show of support, groups of people across America are attaching safety pins to their lapels, shirts and dresses to signify that they are linked, willing to stand up for the vulnerable.

Thank you Q. I had read about the safety pin in the news up here in Canada after Trump got in and forgot about it, obviously, as I did not even remember that news even after seeing the safety pin on his lapel.

Thank you too Dunda for the picture without the watermark.

I thought of a men's clothing line with the little anchor that is worn on the lapel, John Varvatos men's clothing - I think that is the line...but you would know far more about that than I 8)

Hence I wondered then why the safety pin.

Good for him to keep it on.

This is great. 8) I had not heard of this practice either. I just wonder, should we be daunted by 2017 and the prospect of this idiot in the White House or should we be hopeful at the show of solidarity?
