Craig's Star Trek Secret

Post by Misha »

I knew that I loved this man for a reason!(other than his amazing acting skills and fabulous body) He's a fellow sci-fi geek! :D Now that would be a dream come true, to see him in a Star Trek movie..

James Bond star Daniel Craig is hiding a secret acting ambition - he dreams of appearing in Star Trek.

The suave screen idol is a massive fan of the sci-fi franchise and would jump at the chance to star in a Star Trek TV show or movie.

He reveals, "I would love a stint in the TV show or in a film. It's been a secret ambition of mine for years."

I have to say I'm not really that into sci-fi, but I'd go with Space 1999 - anyone remembers that? Gosh, I'd love to see Dc questioning Martin Landau's authority.

whatever you do it's political, and everything you do should be political- you should be trying to make a point about something. And if you can manage to do that, then you're succeeding as an artist. - Daniel Craig.

:o yeah!! I used to watch that show in the mid 70s! I remember it very well. Daniel would do a good Captain Koenig. But I really love Star Trek, imagine him as Captain Kirk...
Beam me up, Daniel...

I watched it when I was a kid and I really wanted to be Maya - I even had my Mother make me her special eyebrows - those were the days! Honestly? He could play Santa Claus and he'd still be great - hey there's an idea, showing the deep side of Old Santa as a young man!

Good Health to you, those who are dear to you and those to whom you are dear.

:D Hi

I'd go and see a Star Trek movie with Daniel in it. :) Or better still a Star Wars Movie - I liked that better but saying that I kind of grew up with Star Trek and always loved watching the old series (before some of your time on earth - in the 70s like you Sophie) but I'd pay to see Daniel looking all alien like (they could do cool colourful things to those gorgeous ears of his) 8) or just his gorgous normal blue eyed sexy mouth self.

I'd be a Trekkie and trek Daniel down on earth, or up in space, the stars, the milky way (not a black hole though) and a planet where I could breath and drink water or wine, anywhere in fact, to the ends of the earth.

Are you coming with me?

You know what Sue I could see myself going to see Dan in Star Trek - I'd cetainly CLINGON to that thought - ha ha. Anyhow, I think he would make a great Captain - that voice would certainly outdo Captain Picard's gorgeous tones. I could see him in a one piece suit thingy they wear and a phaser gun - ooo what a thought. You could definately beam us all up there with him I think. Anyway, Dan deserves to be an Admiral I think. I'm not a Trekkie but I wouldn't want them to make him into a hideous looking thing that has his face peeling or anything - just plain old Admiral Dan.

Best wishes ladies - Keep the FaithX
I will be keeping my eye on our Government's money....and off your perfectly formed arse - You noticed!!

:D Hey jovichick 8)

Heard Living on a Prayer this morning on the radio - love that song!!!
:D
Now you mention it Daniel would be an amazing Admiral! When I was thinking of Daniel being an alien I was seeing his ears and nothing else being changed, but you made me think again - I don't want to see skin peeling off or whatever  - to me he'd have to be a beautiful handsome alien - an adonis (is that the right word - with very little on and painted in gold or tanning oil, looking so hot we would all melt. But admiral now sounds a lot better and sexier!!! If he's in uniform well that's even better. You got my vote there girl!!

CLINGON -that's a good one!

Damn , it took me forever to find this thread , Well I think his dreams are dashed for this film . I read on tv guide .com that that Eric Bana is to play a bad guy , the guy who plays Syler on Heros is Spock , the guy from Sean of the Dead is to play Scotty . I don't know who the other people are .

That's okay Laredo.....it is not his time yet....too damn busy doing other things. The Star Trek series and movies are endless - I think he may still get a chance to fulfill his youthful dreams one day. I can see him now as a strong-willed, dashingly handsome, rugged Captain of the Enterprise and could send this franchise through the roof as well - my guess? in his late 40's?
