i had a temp job with a hollywood production company a few years ago

i asked the same question about the 20 yr female & 40 yr male

he said that many male producers started at the bottom when they were in their 20s and many 20s starlets ignored them when they were PAs, runners, goofers and nobodies in the business

now, they reliving their 20 something fanasties

i know a lot of 30s and 40s plus men who prefer to dated women in their own age range

I am thinking she might be part of the "You don´t care who you hurt" thing.[/quote]

I hope you're right, GG. I've been thinking more like Elaine and others. I was kind of disappointed in the choice of a 22 yr.old. My nieces are older than that and they're both very smart and assertive. However, I can't imagine them holding their own with an amazingly handsome, sexy, angry, and 40 yr old assassin!!!

Hi Dan fans :D

How's it all going? Been busy with my dad as he needs an operation on his blocked carotid arteries. All those years of heavy smoking has paid off - yeah right? Seriously he has done some major damage!!!

Saw the tantalising short preview of Quantum of Solace on the news, and I am very excited about Daniel as James Bond again!!! He is so gorgeous. Whose girl's back is that James is kissing? I didn't dream it did I? Wish it was mine!!

What's the latest going on with our man? Is his finger tip okay now he sliced part of it or the skin off or something and lost a lot of blood. Could have rushed me to give him a transfusion, heart to heart if he needed it, or better still, the kiss of life!!! Anything to get my hands or mouth on that gorgeous man!!!

Hope it wasn't his little finger because remember what he can do with that ladies from Casino Royale. We wouldn't want Daniel to lose that would we?

Is the filming of the movie finished yet? Is Daniel engaged to Satsuki?

Tell me all the latest tidbits as I haven't been here for a month or longer!! eek!!! Smack my hand!!

Sue xxx :D

I didn't think it would be difficult to find a Bond Girl. I wonder what they are paid. They usually don't have much success afterwards either.
Could be true, could not, could explain the 22 year olds. I'd do it for a real cheap rate

Model dumps 007 movie in favour of £100k cosmetic brand's deal
20 Jul, 2008, 1920 hrs IST, AGENCIES

London: Lizzie Cundy has dumped her chance to appear in the new Bond movie after bagging a 100,000 pounds contract with the cosmetics giant Estee Lauder.

The telly beauty was due to appear alongside Mr Smooth in the new Bond movie but cancelled to become the face of the cosmetics giant

The model has also been lined up to present a primetime telly show, ITV At The Movies.

Cundy admitted that she was excited to work with Daniel Craig but found the other deals better.

"I was so chuffed to be asked to do Bond and also so excited to be working with Daniel but ITV and Estee Lauder were opportunities I couldn't miss," News of the World quoted herm as saying.

WAG of the Day

WAG No. 18: Lizzie Cundy

January 30th, 2008 · 3 Comments

You’ve seen her in the movies, you just don’t know it
This morning’s Sun newspaper reports that ropey busty glamour model Alicia Douvall threw a scalding sup of tea over Lizzie Cundy - the WAG of ex-Spurs and Chelsea defender Jason. The ladies threw down fisticuffs after Alicia blasted ‘cheating rat’ footballers, while Lizzie had a go at ‘kiss and tell’ girl. Fortunately, the thick levels of make-up involved meant no models were harmed in the Ashley Cole-inspired incident.

Thirty-seven-year-old Lizzie appears on Wedding TV’s WAGs World every Tuesday night at 10pm, but she also has an established career as a Bond girl body double. Not only did she enjoy bedroom scenes with ‘the hairiest man alive’ Pierce Brosnan in The World is Not Enough and Tomorrow Never Dies, but her legs appear on the poster for Goldeneye.

Liz narrowly avoided a career suicide by declining an appearing in 2007’s Celebrity Big Brother house (the one that painted Jade Goody and Danielle Lloyd with the racism brush). She and Jason pulled out at the last minute, as she (wisely) believed the media scrutiny would be too much for her two young children. Controversially, however, Liz defends her ‘friend’ Danielle Lloyd whenever she gets in a scrape, and she is a strong advocate of the WAGs who make a living from snaring a ‘baller:

“I think the WAG label is tongue in cheek and if a girl can make a buck from it, good for them.”

Remember folks, Lizzie’s show WAGs World, a gig she landed solely on the premise of being a WAG, is on Wedding TV, Tuesdays at 10pm.

Spoiler bonus: Here’s Lizzie forming the foundations of a WAG pyramid at Duncan Bannatyne’s gym this week, in aid of BBC Sport Relief:

Hi Sigl! :D

My theorie is - she is the agent they have in that embassy in Panama(or wherever in South America they are) and M needs someone to look after him - as he is causing trouble. Lets say the script needs that reaction from M, but having a full grown agent doing the job, would perhaps keep him from doing what he wants to do and that might NOT be suitable to the script. So, a young one, he can play with - in every sense of the word - is fitting here.
Remember when she is following him in her coat with nothing much underneath? He is clearly giving her a hard time and she is destined to not let him get away - which he will, of course - partly because she is so unexperienced.

My two cents with ??, but its a possible scenery
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

GG, I think you are probably right! This makes sense. A young inexperienced agent...

The List:

1 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (UK/USA) - £470 million

2 The Bourne Ultimatum (UK/USA) - £222 million

3 The Golden Compass (UK/USA) - £127 million

4 Mr Bean's Holiday (UK) - £113 million

5 Stardust (UK/USA) - £67 million

6 1408 (UK/USA) - £61 million

7 Casino Royale (UK/USA/Cze) - £50 million

8 Fred Claus (UK/USA) - £48 million

=9 Hot Fuzz (UK) - £41 million

=9 Hannibal Rising (UK/Fra/Ita) - £41 million

Coming to think of this - its a rather strange rating, I must say. Bourne 2nd?? Cannot believe that

From a guy over at commanderbond

I really didn't want to bump this thread back up since it seems to have run its course, but I did promise some photos of the new limited edition James Bond Omega Seamaster Collector's Piece as soon as it arrived in my store. Well, it arrived about two weeks ago and I have been a steady mixture of both busy and lazy.
But...for those of you who may be interested and haven't seen this watch yet, here it is. Once again, limited to 10,007 pieces world-wide. Once again featuring Omega's proprietary Co-Axial technology, once again featuring the 007 logo as the counter-weight on the second hand so that every minute, it spells the word "LOO" to the untrained eye.
Please excuse the amateur style of my photgraphy, but I had to be quick before the murderous henchmen (management) came back from a coffee break.

This new Seamaster Ltd Ed has such a glossy black dial that the limitations of my camera, my photo skills, and an overdose of overhead lighting meant that this was as good as the pictures were gonna be.
Image

And it's ready for its close-up, Mr De Mille.
Image

Here's how it looks from the case-back end.
Image

And here's the clasp, once again with the 007 gun logo as seen on previous Limited Editions.
Image

And there you have it. Just a little something to keep us going before the next round of "What watch is DC wearing in QoS?" discussions.

Thanks, all.

Me too :D :D . I love BIG watches. Dh teases me that my watch is more fitting for a man. Of course several years ago HE bought it for me as a joke, thinking that it was too big & ugly for me to want to wear, but I absolutely love it. It has many features, very practical for my running. Guess the joke is on him
