He's got hids Green Card :dance2: I am sooo happy for him-
So now, he can litererally life in both worlds.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Where did that tidbit come from?? I'm on my phone so can't access everything.

I'm surprised though.....I assumed he had had a green card for years already. English actors usually get a shoo-in on the backs of their Equity Cards. : :-k

I'm surprised too, perhaps he just got by on a regular work visa. I guess things changed when he settled in NY as a regular base. A green card doesn't afford much difference than a regular visa, it really just gives you the flexibility to work for other employers and change your profession. Oh, and perhaps the biggest benefit, go through the US citizen line at the airport and avoid the huge lines and interrogation that visitors get. Odd.

I was surprised that he has just got his green card. Maybe his next step is to become a naturalized citizen and why not if NY is to be home for the foreseeable future. If RW is a citizen, it shouldn't take too long for him to become one if he wants to. I think it should take around 3 years for him as opposed to 5 years otherwise.

Yep, I wonder if Rachel actually sponsored his green card, if she's a citizen.

I love the first question and how DC says "I don't know how to answer that"
