Virgin.net is my home page and so when it opened up with a section called "Gurn, baby, gurn! Because sometimes Hollywood's beautiful people ain't so beautiful..." I had to take a look to see if they had one of Daniel's funny faces....and they do.

He regularly makes it into their lists for being well-groomed, hot 40s, leading men, hot bodies, etc., but this one is a little different. :)

Daniel Craig Says 007's Martinis Left Him 'On the Floor'

Call it sipping into character.

Daniel Craig, the current James Bond, says not only has he tried a Vesper martini – the drink 007 invented in Casino Royale – but he's done a taste test for the best recipe.

"I've tried about 10 of them," Craig, 40, tells London's Time Out in its Oct. 23 issue. "They're knockout. We did a proper taste test: full measure of gin, full measure of vodka and then another liqueur on top of it. I ended up on the floor."

When he's off duty, the actor says he prefers vodka martinis with an olive. Shaken or stirred? "I don't know who drinks stirred cocktails anymore. I like them ice, ice, ice cold, so you have to shake them up."

Marine Workout
To work off his excesses, Craig literally calls in the big guns: the Royal Marines. "They always hurt me ... my trainer is one. They haunt me."

In the interview – which features questions from the circa-'70s 007 Roger Moore and singer Shirley Bassey, who scored a Top Ten hit with the classic title song to 1965's Goldfinger – Craig also sounds off on his relationship with his Bond predecessors.

"I speak to Pierce [Brosnan] occasionally," says Craig, whose second Bond film, Quantum of Solace, hits theaters Nov. 14. "We've got the same publicist, so I might get on the phone with him when he's on junkets. He was really nice and encouraging when the whole thing kicked off."

Best (and the not so well) Dressed Man - 2009
http://letmebegreat.wordpress.com/2009/ ... -man-2009/

Daniel Craig, winner of GQ’s best dressed list in 2007 and 2008, does know how to wear a suit but how much input or even choice would he have on what he wears. His high profile role of James Bond, means that designers will be extremely keen to have Craig wear their suits and such is his muscular body I am sure most suits would look pretty good on. Without wanting to be too harsh, Daniel Craig, who came in 4th this year, his “understated elegance”, is nothing but a safe bet. I should however add that I think Daniel Craig is a good style icon as his look (a good suit and not having to be ‘pretty’) is a little more attainable than a certain English footballer.

Daniel Craig makes me want to be a better woman
Last night I returned from 2 weeks in France and boy my french is terrible. As I gathered my bags at LAX airport I realized Daniel Craig (yes, the most recent James Bond) was on my connecting flight from London and damn he looked AMAZING. I never get star-struck and especially not by male celebrities but he and his female companion were stunning. My backpacks were spread all over the floor at baggage claim. When Daniel walked by I moved them and he said "Why thank you" to which I responded, "Thank you, Sir", apparently my star-struck ass was playing a part in the film OLIVER "Please Sir, can I have some more?"

I chalk up my lame response to 2 days of no sleep and being on a plan with 3,000 screaming kids for 14 hours- GOD I hate kids!

After seeing Daniel (yes we're on a first name basis) I had an epiphany. I need to take better care of myself. Daniel looked so fit and healthy and my tired ass could barely stand up straight. So I'm giving myself a healthy-challenge, starting today.

August 2008, correct? STUNNING. Damn. His "companion". Why is she described that way?? If it were a famous female, it would be her boyfriend with her or her husband...whatever. poor sats. That is how I will probably "run" into him some day--looking like crap and wanting to give away my kids. Excellent. But damn, to have looked upon him in my real live eyeballs. ho hum.

Kim Kardashian Eyes Twilight, 007 Roles

Kim Kardashian made her big screen debut in 2008's Disaster Movie, but now the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is looking for a role with a little more bite.

"I would like die to be in Twilight," Kardashian gushes to PopEater, "being around all those hot guys. I want to be a vampire."

Though the star can't decide if she'd rather team with Robert Pattinson's friendly Cullen clan or Twilight's band of baddies – "I would be one that was probably nice. No, I kind of want to be evil" – Kardashian is no stranger to Edward Cullen fanaticism.

"My [little] sisters are obsessed with Twilight," she says. "They have their friends over; they have Twilight parties."

As for her own dream leading man, Kardashian hopes to share screen time with another British sex symbol, Daniel Craig.

"I would love to be a Bond girl, that would be my dream of life."

Guinness, I know how this feels!! Picture me at any one of the premieres I've attended over the last 12 months - FOAF, QOS and then Defiance. You want to look glamourous for him right so you might just catch his eye?? There is no point in getting tarted up for a premiere! You have to dress for warmth and comfort! So, there is me in a very unfetching mac, thermals and any number of woolly hats and and gloves! One ends up looking like a bag-lady and Daniel shows up just looking head to toe gorgeous..!  NO FAIR!!

PS. On Sunday, it'll be a year to the day since the amazing experience I had at the Flashbacks of a Fool premiere. Excuse me while I heave a very big sigh!!
