I think Daniel is being sensible in mixing it up a bit, if your routine becomes predictable this raises the risks to your safety. His travelling alone was publicised, it make sense on his return journey that he’d have security, being prudent gives him the flexibility to assess when and where he’s likely to need someone to watch his back.

It looks to me like the Box is in a sketchy part of town...can't blame him fir wanting extra security there. Hell, I went downtown in STL last night and wished we'd had and armed escort...

Maybe the security guard was employed by the venue and just happened to be near DC at that time? :dunno:

It's the same nice, crew-cut guy from ASR days. It was really cute how he seemed to get a kick out of all the women going nuts for Hugh and Daniel.

Must say, I often saw those other security guys rolling their eyes in a way. For them it was only business routine and they had to take care of all tose hormon driven women - cannot have been easy. I know - he yelled at me , when I was rushing forward early to secure my place. I didn't give a damn, though. "You wanna yell? Ha - as if I cared" You are not even half the man, that would be needed to get me away from securing my front row place.
But yeah, the body guards were nice :D

:rotfl: :rotfl: Oh, those were fun times...But I will never forget the absolute devastation I felt when that first photo D&H was published. All I saw was some 70's porn 'stach on the studly one.

Was it crew-cut guy who yelled at you?? LOL
Imagine thew tweets if it were happening now. They would be like clockwork because of their schedules. Was tweeting big then?

No, not the bodyguards but the security guys. One was real nasty - but I have to say, he just didn't make a difference between high styled ladies and gentlemen, who just wanted to get out  or the craszy women fans.

Tweeting big back then? Back then ASR times? But sure - the tweets were VERY informtive and helpful to get info and vids. :D

Yeah, I wasn't tweeting, but wouldn't we have had constant tweets of where he was at dinner, lunch, shopping, etc? Or did we and I forgot? Poor guy - it's like he has a GPS attached to him (actually, not a bad idea  ).

Cute! Thanks SG! It's lovely to know and see his whereabouts.

His hands looked scratched and sore!
