There is something about them, that makes them a couple - there are no mother/son vibes to me  He has a somewhat mature energy here, that makes it possible to imagine her looking up to him at times, too...

I have dated and even married men, that were a lot older then me - it didn´t work, but I am still all for giving it a change - love is too rare to run away from it, because of an age difference in my book...

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

To be honest I can't imagine me dating a so much younger man (I could deal with a man 7 years younger than me, though ), but sometimes it seems to work (Demi Moore/Aston Kutcher, Tina Turner/Erwin Bach). After so much misery in her life she surely deserves to be happy and I hope this will last.

Yes it does. One interesting challenge is his not knowing any of the cultural icons you know. Of course, if the young man is also from a foreign country he wouldn't know them any way

Should we start a "Dirty Old Women's Club"?

It will be secret and anonymous. We'll wear hoods and disguise our voices, meeting in the dark if night...

You know you're bucking a trend, when a friend puts a picture of a cougar on your Facebook page for all to see.

I CANNOT WATCH DANIEL CRAIG AS BOND, SAYS PIERCE BROSNAN

PIERCE Brosnan has confessed that he still finds it impossible to watch Daniel Craig play James Bond – more than five years after he lost the role.

The actor admits: “I got the Academy screener for Quantum Of Solace, turned it on for my boys and left them to it. I didn’t go near it.”

Brosnan explains that attempts to steel himself and watch the blond Bond have even led to divine intervention.

“I tried watching it on an aeroplane,” he says , “but the DVD broke down . The attendant came and changed it and it broke down a second time so I figured: ‘OK, the Gods must be saying something.’ So I never went near it. I just thought, ‘Let sleeping dogs lie.’”

Brosnan, 56, said in 2004 of losing the part: “It was disappointing. It was surprising. And I accepted the knowledge after 24 hours of being in shock.”

Critics have since heaped praise on Craig for re-invigorating the franchise and “sliding into the role like an olive into a martini”, casting further shadows over Brosnan’s more classic interpretation of 007.

But the actor appears to bear no grudge against his youthful replacement. On being cited for the role, Craig reportedly approached Brosnan at an awards event and asked his fellow thesp for the OK to proceed if he got the nod. Craig recalls: “After having enough to drink I just went over and said, ‘Look, it’s not on the cards but it might be. If it were on the cards what should I do?’ And Brosnan said, ‘Go for it. Just go for it. ’” Brosnan has also praised Craig’s performances, describing him as a “very fine actor”.

Since his Bond stint Brosnan’s most famous role has been in Mamma Mia! for which his singing was derided but his enthusiasm praised. A sequel to The Thomas Crown Affair is currently in development.

 he has sour grapes i think

I must say I actually like the way he's dealing with it.

In another article He's quoted saying “I haven’t seen Daniel in the role. I tried watching [Casino Royale] on an airplane,” he says. “I thought 37,000 feet was a good distance to watch it from and it broke down right at the beginning. The attendant came and changed it and it broke down a second time, so I figured ‘OK. The Gods must be saying something . . .’

He doesn't talk sugar-coated, I think he's still a bit pissed and I like the fact that he doesn't hide it.
To classy to let it come across as envious, just honest.

I agree. Its just sad when they say it doesn't bother them a bit, and you can tell it does. Has any one else seen the Matador with Pierce? It was fabulous.

That just made my day - Dan being described as "youthful"!! He's only 3 months younger than me so I guess I can call myself "youthful" too - am very pleased about that :D

I agree. And from what I've seen from interviews,Pierce is like that most of the times. He usually says what's on his mind and shows how he feels.I like that. :)
