Slideshow: Who Should Be The Next Bond Girl?

Kim Kardashian has publicly stated her dreams of being cast as a Bond girl. Megan Fox, on the other hand, has passed up Hollywood's next Bond girl offer in preference for more serious acting roles. So, who shall be cast as the next lead actress in the up coming "Bond 23" film?

Here are a few actresses that we think would better serve as Daniel Craig's future counterpoint on screen. Let us know your list actresses who should be considered!

A smoldering wicked match up on screen for Craig would be actress Sienna Miller.

Bad news for MGM (and probably Bond fans) :?

Town reacts to MGM's new lionkeeper
Hollywood skeptical about Sloan's departure

Can the man who restructured Krispy Kreme and Enron save Leo the Lion?
The initial reaction of key Hollywood players to Tuesday's management shakeup at MGM was one of skepticism.

"Now it's really going to get ugly," said one banker, who worries that the new MGM team may find itself "at war" with debt holders.

"MGM doesn't need a new CEO -- it needs someone to write a check for a couple of billion dollars," said the CEO of a rival company.

The exit of Harry Sloan as CEO (he stays on with the title of chairman) has been viewed as an inevitability for several weeks. The office of CEO will now be divided between three executives, with the key restructuring role going to Stephen Cooper.

Cooper, a corporate turnaround specialist known for dismantling Enron after its collapse and for salvaging Krispy Kreme after its bankruptcy, confronts a $3.7 billion debt load at the Lion, with major payments coming due next year.

"It's up in the air what can truly be salvaged in the way of assets," another corporate CEO declared. "This will be an epic task at debt restructuring, if it can be accomplished at all."

Sloan arrived at MGM in 2005 with the dream of restoring the company to its glory days. Sloan had become a billionaire as a result of his savvy investments in TV in Europe's fast-expanding media market in the 1980s and '90s, but he had never cracked the big time in Hollywood.

Sloan had invested in New World Entertainment and Lionsgate before becoming chairman of SBS Broadcasting, a company he sold for about $2.6 billion four years ago.

Many Hollywood players felt Sloan's ambitions for MGM were optimistic from the start. The economy turned out to be his biggest adversary. The declining DVD market also played havoc with the value of the aging MGM library.

The latest restructuring casts further doubt on MGM's plans to co-finance future films. Warner Bros. has already explored alternate funding for "The Hobbit." Observers speculate that the Bond franchise may be one of the assets that come into play.

And some debt holders may favor bankruptcy as a way of clarifying MGM's nightmarishly complicated structure.

As one executive said, "It's impossible to figure out what will be left of MGM after this phase is over."

You can read some opinions here - although it soon becomes a terrible mish-mash of the normal idiocy.

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Alright so nerd that I am a few of my friends and I were talking about the upcoming Bond movie and here was some ideas for actors/actresses we would like to see:

Bond Villian: Jeremy Irons, Michael Sheen, Ian Mckellen, Andy Serkis, Ian McShane

Bond Woman: Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Keira Knightley, Scarlett Johanson, Julianne Moore, Juliette Binoche, Drew Barrymore...others that I can't think of at the moment...

Bond Villianess: Kristen Scott Thomas, Tilda Swinton, Cate Blanchett

EDIT:

I remember the other one! If they did have a Moneypenny I think it be cool to have either Rachel McAdams as that character or Keeley Hawes.

Granted when it comes to Bond women I prefer to have a relative unknown play the part; but it's still fun to imagine what others may be like  And about that Kim Kardashian lady...she's an extremely beautiful woman (I love her rather exotic looks and curvy figure) however other than that isn't that all she does? Just pose for cameras? I swear that's the only reason she became 'famous'; was because she's got a nice a$$ and pretty features  (and that's the end of my rant hahaha 8) ).

Little blurb I found while cruising around the internet. He talks about how he feels Austin Powers almost ruined the Bond franchise. I'm personally a huge fan of the AP series, but I have to agree that if these hadn't come out...what would the Bond series be like today? I feel it's almost a good thing that they did, because it forced the Bond producers to try something gritter and different (thus DC jumped aboard! :D ). Also apologies for the long link...I don't think I've ever seen one so long   :
