I don't think anyone really knows why these two split up. I do agree with you, i think he really loved her too. When you see pics from when they where together you can see the passion and the devotion. But he has another beautiful lady in his life now.

In fact it could be anyone. Someone on the set of Defiance said that every evening when they'd wrap up shooting, Daniel would come hug everyone. Even the extras. I guess he's just a real hugger. :lol:
