I don't think it's Ella sitting next to Dad - only because, unless they do things dramatically different there, the graduates are on the field, not up in the stands. Unless maybe she can sit there during the undergrad speeches, etc.?

Well, that explains his answer to Kimmel, was it (?), when he said his daughter is going to school on the east coast. Can't get much more east coast than MA.
