Rolling in its domestic earnings, Skyfall has already earned $518.6 million worldwide, and it will pass Casino Royale's record $594 million by the end of the week. Using some very modest projections for the existing markets and the upcoming ones (China, Japan and Australia), it's likely that Skyfall will ultimately earn over $900 million worldwide.

Fingers are crossed!! I think it's impossible to be disappointed (except for the minimal amount of naked DC skin shown.)bubita wrote:it opens tomorrow here as well.Germangirl wrote:Since it did everywhere else, why not? Timing is good.Dunda wrote:I wonder if SF will top the opening weekend of CR ($12,840,429) and QoS ($14,884,633) here ion Germany.
It will open tomorrow and we have a holiday tomorrow (in some parts of Germany)...
With a little luck i´ll see it tomorrow, fingers cross.
Hope it goes strong next week too.Germangirl wrote:It did beat all the highest estimates

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

I was just thinking, that Sandy certainly must have cost the film. There are enough people there unfortunately, whom I assume to have other things on their minds and empty pockets, too.
So, the film might have done well over 90 mill without sandy.

Continued love from the Brits, too and from Germany
This is US here
Skyfall's best market was once again Bond's native U.K., where the movie eased 30 percent to $18.2 million. It's now the highest-grossing movie of the year there with $117.5 million, and it's on pace to eventually pass Avatar's $150 million record. It was also impressive in Germany, where it dipped 30 percent to an estimated $15.1 million; Germany is now the movie's second-highest-grossing market with just under $44 million. Finally, in its third outing in France it dropped 46 percent to $8.2 million for a total of $42.5 million.

Must ask Babs and Michael for a grafik designer job.
Your posters are waaaaaay better than the official ones. This one in particular is extremely good. It would look far better in the cinema posters than the plain (and rather boring) gun barrel one they used.
Surely there must be a way to let Babs know this is your work.....
