Thanks! I'd never heard that there was a documentary about it. And no doubt the movie will be epic! I agree with what they say on that site, this is about "the battle over the very survival of centuries of western culture".Dunda wrote:http://www.therapeofeuropa.com/sf2la wrote:A friend told me that she and her husband watched a documentary on the Monuments Men last week through Netflix. It's called "The Rape of Europa". I don't get Netflix - ratz.

They go search for the various men, who can do the job, find them, make plans and off they go. You can pep it up with serious undertones regarding the war and you might ave an interesting film.

I guess I am in the Rat Pack area where it was Frank Santra, Peter Lawford, Sammy Davis Jr. Dean Martin, Richard Conti. and the likes planning a robbery of 3 casino's. Don't see where they were archiving something. It was make believe.khenton wrote:Wait are the Pitt and the Roberts in this. Did miss something k

But John Goodman cannot ply a man aged 39.tbossmc2000 wrote:I think Daniel will play Major Ronald Edmund Balfour, age 40.
He appears very thin and sports a mustache.
If Clooney is in it as well as heading up with project I think he will play Lieutenant George Stout, age 47, yes a mustache as well.
John Goodman could be Second Lieutenant James Rorimer age 39.
If this comes together it could be pretty amazing.
