He pulled out. It's a mystery. We had to put it on hiatus until we reconfigured it. And it's going to go again this summer. We're in the middle of [casting]. I can't say who because we have no deal yet, but it's coming together.

It sounds like he's being deliberately cagey - the new cast are still in the process of being pulled together and he's trying to be diplomatic. I still go with TripAces version of events... it was the script. Daniel needs something Top Notch to return to the screen with.
