Daniels Stunt double has no similarity with Daniel! The legs too thin and the haircut does not go at all! Even if the camera is wide-angle filming and built far enough away for a distance shot, you can recognize the Stuntdouble at the longer hair on the sides.

So alternative theory, just there to test the screenshot?

Yes like a safety tester. Just in case the wires are not secure or on show or what they want Daniel to do is too risky or not right for the shot.

Or even a body double (... Less the legs!) Idk, just a bit of a guess....

What fun! New pics! He looks good, but still not liking the haircut when shown from the sides. But since when was that a popular 90's cut? I think it's a current cut for kids today. Also agree that the double is there as a stand-in for lighting, positioning, etc. He does the run-through to get the sequence right - perhaps over and over, and then Daniel steps in to hopefully get it in a single take (100 with Fincher ). At least we get to see Daniel in underwear (but darn, not sexy boxer briefs.) Thanks for posting!

Of course. They need the "Daniel-double" for screentests. Settings for the cameras (ISO, exposure, ect.) lighting and camera angle.

BTW: I like Daniels haircut.
