Re: MacBeth
Today’s matinee and evening performance of MACBETH are cancelled due to Daniel Craig just testing positive for COVID this afternoon.

Re: MacBeth
Testing positive doesn't mean he is sick....and I really hope it is so ..
Re: MacBeth
Very true. I got Covid a few weeks back - it lasted perhaps 4 days. It was more of a cold than anything else.videnovasan wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 6:34 pm Testing positive doesn't mean he is sick....and I really hope it is so ..
I also saw this picture on Twitter of Daniel covered in blood. It looks as though the main note from the previews to date is "more blood." I like this look a lot! It's a shame we haven't got word yet on whether this will be broadcast in cinemas in the UK. (It also seems that Ruth Negga wears his coat from earlier in the play.)

Re: MacBeth
So is Daniel wearing an eyepiece during his Macbeth performance?
Re: MacBeth
You mean earpiece right?
Re: MacBeth
I did mean earpiece. It seems a bit odd for Broadway, right?

Re: MacBeth
Don't think he is wearing.
Re: MacBeth
It is odd but maybe its for the prompter. It is very visible, though.

Re: MacBeth
Yes bit the worst he already did.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
