Great story, Dunda.
And sometimes their partners leave them during the match. My british friend Julie told me this story:
I remember one match at Anfield, the commentator said over the loud speaker:
"This is a message for Ian ... of ... Liverpool from your wife: I've left you, you b******."
The whole stadium errupted into laughter and then a rising chorus started: "Bye Bye Ian, Ian Bye Bye. Your wife has f***** off and left you, because you're a f****** b******! Bye bye Ian, Ian bye bye."
British humour, I guess.

English football/soccer fans are some of the craziest, didn't you know that?
Groups of football fans in Argentine stadiums. Here the football is a religion....

We convince ourselves that we know the other person well, but do we really know anything important about anyone.

Liverpool fans are some of the most humourous around. As west Ham fans we used to joke with them......"We've got Di Canio, you've nicked our stereos" and they saw the funny side........does my heart good to know Daniel is a Liverpool fan.but I wouldn't want to watch them on TV with him, I can imagine the swearing the digs at the ref and everything else he wouldn't dare do in public!!!

He wouldn´t swear in public, being there as a private person? I think, he would - intenselyamanda7609daniel68 wrote:Liverpool fans are some of the most humourous around. The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
