What a precious voice. I'm not saying this because I'm in lust with the man, but it really is amazing that one man can be so ruggedly handsome, have those light blue eyes, genetically gifted body, acting talent, sense of humor, and be given the gift of that voice.

Some men are handsome, Beckham, e.g., but as soon as they open their mouths and talk....the appeal is diminished. Affleck is a decent enough looking guy, but he has a bad voice too.

True, but actually, I always love his voice more, whe he isn't giving it too much attention, like in interviews. His narrations are good, but his voice is different to the one in just interviews. Too articulated, which makes him loose some of the smooth factor for me. Dunno, if I can really explain it.

I feel quite the opposite. His voice and accent are alwas spectacular, obviously, but when he does his narrations, his voice is like the starring solo musician from a symphony orchestra. It's just so beautiful.

Oh well said, SF. You had me at "ruggedly handsome" and then carried me with you all the way :D

Word of the Day time....

"Mellifluous"... that is how I would describe his voice... :sigh:

(Somebody pass me a dictionary... I'm sure it's the right word... )

Well done to him for getting involved in a good cause
As for the voice,...... :sigh: I've been working and doing chores in the house with this video playing in the background since yesterday afternoon :).

Mellifluous... Got to be linked to the Ancient Greek word for honey, right? Like the name Melissa, which means honey bee. His voice is certainly like honey to me. Or chocolate. Smooth, rich and moreish, like Creme Caramel.
All these food metaphors are making me hungry!

Me too! I love to learn new words. Now if only I could remember then all. The Melissa/honey bee connection (also new for me) is a great way!
