Another pair of dorky glasses, but not as dorky as the last pair.

Anyone got any clues what brand they are?....there is something written on the tip of the arm but can't see what it is.

@JEC, this are def. Persol-sunglasses. The main thing of Persol is the small silver arrow. I own a Persol. It is also written in nice small oldstyle letters at the tip of the arm.
