Daniel Craig Nominated For British National Movie Award
Daniel Craig can notch up yet another awards nomination for his first stab at playing James Bond.
UK freebie newspaper, the Metro today reports that the actor is up for the Best Male Performance gong at the inaugural British National Movie Awards. Craig is nominated alongside four other actors who have appeared in films released in the past year.
The nominees for the Best Male Performance award are listed below.
Orlando Bloom (Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End)
Daniel Craig (Casino Royale)
Johnny Depp (Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End)
Rupert Grint (Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix)
Daniel Radciffe (Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix)
Commissioned by ITV, the winners of the awards are to be decided upon by the public. Voting forms will be available at cinemas throughout the UK and published in national newspapers, magazines and on the Internet.
The ceremony will take place at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 28 September and air on ITV1 the next day.
Craig already has a slew of awards nominations and wins under his belt for his critically-acclaimed debut 007 performance. His IMDb profile lists no fewer than three nominations (including a BAFTA) and three wins (including an Evening Standard British Film Award) for his turn in Casino Royale, while the film itself has garnered an impressive number of industry nods.
Craig was most recently seen visiting (article contains SPOILERS) filming of Bond 22 in Tuscany last Thursday.
Stay tuned to CBn for the latest Casino Royale and Bond 22 coverage.

Voted 5 times. You seem to be able to vote more than once so lets get cracking girls. I have also sent this link to my mates who will vote for our Daniel - if we all do this, who knows we could put a smile on his face. If he does win, we can all clap for him and say we did this.
I will be keeping my eye on our Government's money....and off your perfectly formed arse - You noticed!!
Yep, votes are counted. You don't have to enter where you're coming from.
Tickets are indeed for sale apparently:
If you'd like to be a part of it all at Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, call the box office on 0871 663 2538 where a limited number of tickets will be on sale from 21st August 2007.

@ Renske : do you register at the end of the poll? After voting few days ago, I wonder how serious is a nomination without checking votes ... it's not a hollywood nomination but it's not also the nomination for a gossip newspaper..Renske wrote:Yep, votes are counted. So I decide to vote again but this time for each category until the end of the poll and I find this
AM I THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE NOT UNDERSTAND THIS???

You only live twice or so it seems..
One life for yourself and one for your dreams...And one day I realize that I was addicted to Daniel Craig's blue eyes.
