But I tend to take this kind of info with a pinch of salt .

Hm, why bot? I believed it, until they named possible Bond actirs, which was very out of the line. I would love to have it done in a big way.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

New quotes from BB and MGW about the future of Bond....From their comments, I suppose we can take it that Eon have 'moved on' from Daniel and are looking for the new 007:

“Mike and Pam understand that we are at a critical juncture and that the continuing success of the James Bond series is dependent on us getting the next iteration right and will give us the support we need to do this,” Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, said in a statement.
They added that “Amazon has assured us that Bond will continue to debut” in movie theaters. “Our hope is that they will empower Mike and Pam to continue to run MGM unencumbered,” they said.

I'm curious how many here on the forum will keep up with the Bond films once Craig is gone? I know I will. Though I think Daniel will always be the best Bond for me. I do hope they cast an actor of colour though. It be a good modernation for the series. When Daniel was cast in 2005, it was very radical. I think they need to do something equally as interesting.
I quite like the guy from Bridgerton, Rege-Jean Page to take the role. Though we all know Barbara gets the final say.

I dont see him at all. Had a tough time getting used to him in Bridgerton really. But I know, the ladies like him. I know my daughter does

The point is that I like what DC made with Bond and cant see anyone could make it really human like he did....Anyway I will watch them for sure, just for the fun.....
